OSHA 10/30 Hour Outreach - Construction Standards Training

Our Safety Professionals have been trained at the OSHA Training Institute in Livonia, Michigan to provide the OSHA Outreach Training in Construction Safety Standards. We use a variety of training methods including PowerPoint slides, videos, and lectures as well as hands on demonstrations. Our safety instructors get the message across in a memorable and meaningful way to the students.

The 10 Hour class is designed mainly for an overview of the general safety requirements and responsibilities for the workers and their obligation to support the Safety Program.

The 30 Hour classes are designed for supervision, including Foremen, General Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers and other Supervisory personnel. The 30 Hour classes are more in depth than the 10 Hour classes, and we include discussions on the Supervisor’s specific responsibilities and liabilities with regards to the safety of their crews.

All our Construction Safety Classes are customizable to your specific trades and worker skills. This provides you with more flexibility to get the most for your training dollars.

American Red Cross First Aid, CPR & AED Training

Using a variety of instructional methods including hands on training, our instructors provide Basic Life Support training and certification including AED (Automatic External Defibrillation) training. Every job site should have one or more persons trained to provide this valuable lifesaving service. In cases where the job site is more than 5 minutes away from emergency medical services, it is an OSHA requirement to have a trained provider on-site.

Weekly Toolbox Safety Training Topics

Do your Supervisors complain they don’t know what to talk about at their weekly safety training meetings? Let us design specific topics for your Company and your type of work to get the safety message out to your employees. These are reproducible safety topics that can be edited using Microsoft Word to fit your specific requirements and your company logo can be added.

These safety topics cover the OSHA required training yet can be supplemented with your own company-specific topics to make them effective.

Aerial Lift Training

Aerial Lift and Scissors-lift Training is required by both the OSHA Construction and General Industry Safety Standards. Let us train your personnel in the proper and safe way to operate both aerial lifts and scissors lifts.

We will perform classroom training followed by practical training certification using your equipment at your site. We not only instruct as to the proper use of the equipment, but also how to perform a proper and complete “Pre-Start” inspection as required by the ANSI and Manufacturer’s specifications.

If your equipment is inspected and used properly, this will also include the added benefit of less down time for maintenance, as the maintenance issues will be caught while they are small, instead of major ones.

Fall Protection Training

Fall Protection Training is always a touchy subject. How much is enough? OSHA requires that all workers exposed to a height of 6 feet or more (some exceptions apply) be trained in fall protection requirements. More and more clients are requiring 100% fall protection at heights of 4 to 6 feet, no exceptions required.

Let us train your employees on fall protection selection criteria, proper inspection of equipment, and proper identification and use of tie-off points for fall protection.
